JNV Kurnool Alumni and Welfare Trust - Nandyal Regional Alumni Meet Highlights

JNV Kurnool Alumni and Welfare Trust Sucessfully Conducted the Regional Alumni Meet on 21st July 2024 at Hotel Dr. Indraprastha in Nandyal, with almost 80 alumni from various batches. 

Event Details:

  • Date: 21st July 2024
  • Venue: Hotel Dr. Indraprastha, Nandyal
  • Time: 10:30am to 5:00pm
  • Attendees: 80 Alumni from various 30 batches 
  • Opening: The event commenced at 10:30 AM with the Navodaya prayer

Event Proceedings:

Attendance/Snap point:

       The program started at 10:30 am with the Navodaya prayer.  Alumni engaged by filling their details and signatures and taking snaps with their friends. Snacks and drinks served to the alumni gathered. Alumni spent their time by cheering seniors, juniors and fellow Alumni re collecting their Navodayan days. 

1. Welcome Address:

     Speaker: J.H. Sathish

     J.H. Sathish delivered the welcome address, introduced the Agenda of alumni and emphasize the importance of starting a YouTube channel for the association to engage alumni more effectively. 

2. Batch-wise Introductions:

  • Alumni from various batches, including senior batch mates like Sazid, Firoj, Rajinikanth, Krishna Reddy, Gangadhar, Sujay Sathish, and Sarvappa, introduced themselves.
  • Notable Participation: The 11th batch had the highest attendance with around 20 members present.

3. Discussions and Suggestions:

Navodaya Guest House Proposal:

  • Alumni suggested establishing a guest house in Yemmiganur to facilitate frequent visits to Navodaya by alumni.

Alumni Building Proposal:

  • Dr. Shiva Krishna (9th Batch) proposed the idea of constructing an alumni building on the school premises.

Association Activities Overview:

  • Vinay Kumar (12th Batch) briefed the attendees on the association’s activities and future plans, urging everyone to strengthen the alumni network.

4. Lunch:

     A lavish buffet lunch was served with veg and non veg dishes at 2:30 PM.

5. Felicitation Ceremony:

     The association honored the following alumni for their significant contributions:

  •   Firoz Khan (1st Batch)
  •   Gangadhar (4th Batch)
  •   Shiva Kumar (9th Batch)
  •   G. Suresh (11th Batch)
  •   Shankar (12th Batch)
  •   K. Lakshmana Kumar (14th Batch)
  •   Krishnaveni (15th Batch)
  •   Shiva Kumar (18th Batch)

6. Team Building Activities:

     Formation of 4 team Groups of Alumni, asking them to interact each other with their team mates of different batches to build network and Conducting games by J.H.Sathish, Mahaboob Basha, Shaikshavali, with enthusiastic participation from all attendees.

7. Acknowledgment:

    Special thanks were extended to all the girls who participated in the event, contributing to the overall success.

Conclusion:

     A group photo session was conducted, symbolizing the unity and camaraderie among the alumni.

    The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of hope for building a stronger and larger Navodayan community. The meeting adjourned at 5:30 PM.
